Large Wall Mirror

Based on our customer preference, we have two ways of mounting mirrors:

  1. Using H-Bar Chrome Divider in between mirror panels

  2. Polished Mirrors

  1. H-Bar Dividerh-bar.gif

A ½” Chrome Reflective H-Bar divider is used in between each mirror panel to prevent each panel from touching and cracking the other when mounted on the wall.
This method is a bit more affordable being that less labor is involved.
This only works if the mirrors are 8ft in height or lower since the h-bar only comes in 8ft of length.
The mirrors are installed using a chrome j-channel at the bottom. The j-channel gets screwed onto the wall for the mirror to slide in. The mirrors are also glued about every square foot for added security.

  2. Polished Mirrors

Each mirror panel gets machine polished on all sides. The polishing will prevent each panel from cracking when mounted next to another panel.
This method serves the same purpose as the above but it’s a bit more costly due to the time and labor required to prepare each panel.

So the choice is yours. If you want to save some money and you are okay with the chrome divider, then go with the “h-bar”. The look is still nice since the chrome is reflective and blends in well with the mirrors.

But if you totally are against the "h-bar" and you do not mind spending a little more for a much better look, then have your mirrors polished. It will be worth the extra bucks. At the end the choice is yours.
